Mindfulness at work: 5 micro-pauses
Five under-one-minute moments that make meetings and inboxes less spiky.
Mindfulness doesn’t need a retreat. Try these micro-pauses:
- Before reply: one slow breath, then type.
- Doorway reset: every time you stand, relax the jaw.
- Meeting start: two quiet breaths together.
- Water cue: sip, feel feet on the floor.
- Shutdown: one sentence of gratitude for effort.
